Biography

As a 10 year old Lee was selected as a member of the prestigious Australian Rosny Children’s Choir. Following 6 and a half years with the Rosny Choir Lee moved interstate and focussed her attention on other aspects of her life.

After a long break from singing to pursue studies at Deakin University and to have children, Lee once again felt the urge to sing and perform.

 In 2001 Lee auditioned for and gained a role in Mame with the Nova Theatre Company, Melbourne. The following year Lee once again strode the boards with a role in My Fair Lady.

In 2002 Lee returned to Tasmania.  Since that time Lee has worked tirelessly within the Westbury community to encourage the song-full-ness of the Community.

 Whether it be mentoring the Westbury Nightingales, in a guest role with the Meander Valley Choral Society, as a member of “Blue Daze” or in an ensemble at the University of Tasmania Lee’s vocal qualities are unique and are best described as “Folksy Blues” with a hint of “Gospel and Soul”. With a  penchant for Jazz and her gutsy style Lee is sure to make her mark
